Andover Vision - the future: The business event planned for 15th October at The Lights, Andover has been cancelled. The Vision Board remain committed to working to ensure a brighter future for the town. The board will now review the way forward including how to progress one of the Vision's key strategies namely the promotion of Andover as an engineering town.

Business & Enterprise
70% of the local population live and work in Andover, so supporting local enterprise is important to the Vision. The town already hosts several large employers including Simply Health, Stannah, Twinings and the Army Headquarters, and is also home to a wide range of dynamic small to medium size businesses, as well as some exciting entrepreneurial activity such as Basepoint.
Strong 'business clusters' including engineering, food and drink, warehousing and distribution, and logistics have been identified. We want to build on these; encouraging new skills into the town to support business growth and create quality employment opportunities.

Passionate Participation
We don’t want people to sit around twiddling their thumbs. It’s not good for their thumbs and it’s not good for our community. We’re a community of do-ers and we’re helping people to do and to organise things all the time – from big parties for everyone to the little street jumble sale for neighbours and the odd curious passer-by.

Health & Wellbeing
Being fit and healthy means people can take opportunities and live, longer, happier lives. We like that idea. It’s important to us. And we’re helping it in any way we can. We are concentrating all our efforts on our Andover Vision 'Heart Town' Projects with the British Heart Foundation.
