The Princes Trust TEAM Programme

We’re working with the Princes Trust to run a project to inspire young people who haven’t yet connected with their future.

The Princes Trust TEAM programme will take a group of 16–25 years old, who aren’t in training, education or at work, on a 12 week journey where they’ll get work experience, practical skills and qualifications.

About the course...

The project builds confidence and self-esteem and helps to get young people motivated and ready for a brighter future. The young people will link with local employers and trainers and work out a plan of what to do next.

During the programme, the young people also take part in a special community project. The project is a way of them using their own initiative, trying out their new skills and giving something back.

The Princes Trust and Hampshire Fire Service organise the course and two army personnel from Tidworth will be leading our young people through the course. They are Paul Woodcock and Rob and you can track their progress on their facebook page.

Local business Stannah is helping by giving the Trust a base to work from. And we hope more local employers will get involved in the future.

If you know someone who may be interested in this course, please get in touch with the The Princes Trust Team on 02380 626706 or 07918 887762  or send an email to princes-trust@hantsfire.gov.uk
