Andover College is now re-established as a really top-quality Tertiary (A Level and Vocational) College in the town of Andover. The College has had excellent A-level results since 2007; with results over the last two years being in excess of 99% pass rates with A* grades being amongst the best in the country.
Tim describes the opportunity of leading a superb new team of staff in re-establishing the reputation for excellence in Tertiary education in Andover as being one of the real highlights of his career. The merging of Sparsholt College and the college in Andover forms one of the largest colleges in Hampshire, with a good long-term future and the ability to reinvest in its infrastructure.
The growth in student enrolments at Andover has been very pleasing. Tim believes that the partnership with schools in the area to ensure ever higher standards has been a major component of the successful re-establishment of the College, as one of the excellent family of top-class colleges in Hampshire.
Tim is an active participant in the Vision Board, which is very focussed on what will be a successful renaissance in the fortunes of the town and its community, and believes that the college in Andover will play a significant role in supporting this vision for businesses and the community.
